Edinburgh - Glasgow - Tarbet
(inc to Dunoon, Gourock, Paisley, Falkirk, and Leith)

Cycle across Scotland from Gourock on the Firth of Clyde to the spectacular city of Edinburgh on the Union and the Forth and Clyde Canals, part of National Route 754 of the National Cycle Network. Experience some of Scotlands finest flat and peaceful traffic-free cycle paths with spectacular attractions on route like the Falkirk Wheel. Also featured is National Route 75, the original cycle route between Edinburgh and Glasgow.  The map includes the continuation of National Route 75 from Glasgow onto Gourock and Tarbet including two short ferry journeys. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: The traffic-free route between Airdrie and Bathgate on National Route 75 will be closed until 2011. You can follow a suggested on road route or take the open and signed alternative route described above on National Route 754.
